we are using the Amelia booking plugin to display both member and instructor pages. However, we found that users can only log in using Amelia’s account credentials. Is there a way to link it with WordPress accounts instead?
Secondly, during the booking process, is it possible to disable the payment option?
Additionally, if we want to add a custom field, such as the participant's gender, and have this information saved to the database, is there an API available for integration?
We have option Automatically create Amelia Customer user – If this option is enabled, every time a new customer makes an appointment, they will automatically get a WordPress user with the Amelia Customer user role and an email with login details from WP. That WP user would be connected to the customer created in Amelia. If someone is already a WordPress user and they book an appointment for the first time in Amelia while logged in to WP, the customer created in Amelia will be connected to that WP user, and they will get the Amelia Customer role in WP (there are plugins for managing multiple roles in WordPress, such as User role editor). This way, they will have the same login info for the Amelia customer panel and WordPress.
Yes, only if you set that the price of the service is 0. Then the payment step will not appear. Or you can show it but set that they pay on site
No, custom fields are tied to appointments not so customers so they will need to enter this data for each appointment
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Thank you for your response. We have a few more questions to ask. I would like to set up appointments that can be booked on a recurring basis. I noticed that the custom form example includes this option, but I couldn't find any way to set up recurring dates for classes (e.g., every Thursday at 2 PM for six months). We have also checked the official documentation but couldn't find any relevant information. Could you please let us know if there are any reference materials or instructions on how to configure this?
Another question is, if we want to allow instructors to manage more than just viewing their scheduled appointments on the frontend—such as enabling them to set their own course dates and prices on the frontend—is this possible to configure? Or, if we use the API, is it feasible to customize this functionality?
When you have several questions or issues please open a new separate ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions that are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.

Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.
In settings role settings you can enable options so that employees can manage their appointments, events and they can change their price for each service.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
