Dear Support Team,
None of my employee can login from the employee panel directly, for years there was no problem with this however.
So when you load the employee login page as logged out when filling in your credentials correctly press sign in, it is loading to infinity and nothing happens.
With incorrect pass, it is giving the error message.
If you ask for a pass reminder in your email you receive this:
Password: %employee_password%
this might be the cause
Incase you login from /wp-admin first then load the employee access page, it is loading straightaway without any problem.
I assume the employee panel has limited login capabilities to Wordpress but it used to work in the past.
Kindly advice.
Thank you
forgot to mention that I used incognito mode browser and flushed site and server cache, plugin is up to date
Dear Stefan,
As the link suggests you have been granted staging site access which is good enough for you to see and make changes to the backend admin dashboard, to minimize the back and forward communication.
Once you have realized what is causing issues with the login crash and you have suggestions for the changes on the live sites, feel free to share your response here. I'm more than willing to make the changes manually on the live site.
Otherwise, if you don't want to do it this way, you can disregard the staging site access and guide me through the process of identifying the key points that can cause this issue.
Thank you
David
Hi David,
My apologies, it actually makes sense, i missed the part where it says the staging site. So, here is the whole process. First of all, I've created a new page with the employee panel. It looks like this
The URL of this page, needs to be inserted in the User Role settings/employee tab
In Notification settings, the Employee Panel template needs to be turned on and configured.
There must be a placeholder with the URL of the same page we previously added
Once this is configured, after each booking, an email with the link to the employee panel is sent to the employee.
If I try to log in with the employee access, I see this on the employee panel, so it's working properly
All of these are explained also on this link, I hope it's helpful.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
