None of my employee can login from the employee panel directly,for years there was no problem with this however.
So when you load the employee login page as logged out when filling in your credentials correctly press sign in, it is loading to infinity and nothing happens. With incorrect pass, it is giving the error message.
If you ask for a pass reminder in your email you receive this:
Password: %employee_password%
this might be the cause
Incase you login from /wp-admin first then load the employee access page, it is loading straightaway without any problem.
I assume the employee panel has limited login capabilities to Wordpress but it used to work in the past.

forgot to mention that I used incognito mode browser and flushed site and server cache, plugin is up to date
