Currently, Amelia does not have a built-in feature for manually blocking date ranges based on offline bookings or events. However, you can block off certain dates by adding them as "Blocked" in the system via the "Calendar" settings in Amelia.
If you are using Google Calendar for managing your employees' schedules, you can sync blocked dates or events from Google Calendar into Amelia. For this, you would need to mark the events as busy in Google Calendar, and they will be automatically reflected in Amelia as unavailable slots.
Here's how you can block off dates:
In Google Calendar, create an event (e.g., maintenance, offline bookings) and mark it as "Busy."
Sync your Google Calendar with Amelia, ensuring that your employees are linked to the correct calendar.
The blocked events from Google Calendar will show up in Amelia as unavailable.
Please note that the process is based on the synchronization between Google Calendar and Amelia, so manually blocking dates within Amelia can also be done, but only events from Google Calendar can automatically update Amelia's availability.
Can we manually block date ranges where there are other events at our venues which have been booked offline, orĀ for building work or maintenance etc?
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
