I have several payment options activated in Stripe like Apple Pay, Google Pay and TWINT, which is the most used payment option for online purchases in Switzerland.
When I activate Stripe and put the keys in, the only option is to insert credit card. How can I activate all stripe payment options in amelia? In Switzerland no one uses his credit card, only mobile phone and twint...
Thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to disappoint you, but currently, you can only use the credit card option within the Stripe feature. We are looking forward to adding this in future updates, but you can use other methods such as Mollie, for example.
Mollie payment gateway is one of the most used payment gateways in Europe and supports various payment methods such as Apple Pay, Credit Card, PayPal, Klarna, iDeal, and many more. It is supported only in the SEPA area and the only acceptable currency is Euro.
Isnt there any workaround? I just made the Stripe Account and it looks like Mollie is not an option. There will be problems with currency as we are not in SEPA area.
I see in several forums that this topic is discussed a lot of times for a long time now. Isnt there an option to use all the stripe payment options using amelia? Using an embedded payment form or anything similar?
I was referring to Mollie as a separate payment method, not within Stripe. As mentioned, currently when using Stripe, there is only the option to use a credit card. Additional options will be added in future updates, but we don't have an ETA at this moment, unfortunatelly.
I checked out Mollie and the problem is that they charge my customers in Swiss Francs, transfer them in Euro and then transfer to my account in Swiss Francs again. I lose too much money with that.
I asked you for a workaround... What options are there...?
Well, I found one! I will explain what I did in the hope that other users will be able to benefit from this. And this is actually using WooCommerce for the payment. Originally I chose Amelia because it doesnt rely on WooCommerce but if I dont do this I will lose 90% of my customers.
I installed WooCommerce and deactivated as many options as possible
Well, that would work, but I wasn't aware that you want to use WooCoomerce. In that case, yes, there are additional add-ons for WooCoomerce such as Stripe and within that addon, you can configure the other options. Sorry for not mentioning this earlier, but great to see that you've found a workaround.

Now I can offer my clients in Switzerland all payment options they usually use.
