I’m experiencing issues with sending email notifications for appointment confirmations and other related notifications in the Amelia plugin. Despite configuring WP Mail SMTP and successfully sending test emails through the SMTP setup, Amelia's notification emails are still failing to send. I have also tried setting up Amelia notifications through an Outlook email account, but the issue persists.
Here are some details about the problem:
Problem Description SMTP Configuration: I have configured WP Mail SMTP and tested it with both Gmail and Outlook email addresses. Test emails from WP Mail SMTP work fine, indicating that the SMTP connection is properly set up. Notification Emails in Amelia: When trying to send notifications for appointment confirmations and other reservation-related emails, I receive an error message, and the emails do not go through. Actions Taken: Verified that the email address used in Amelia’s notification settings matches the one set up in WP Mail SMTP. Tried sending different types of notifications (e.g., canceled or rescheduled appointment notifications) to see if the issue is specific to one notification type, but none of them work. Removed custom placeholders and simplified the email template to plain text to rule out any template-related issues. Thanks a lot
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we can log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

unfortunately the notifications are still not working, either test or directly from the front-end. Do you think reinstalling wordpress would help? Thank you for your service Have a nice day
Thank you for reaching out! Since you've already set up the WP Mail SMTP plugin, the connection to SMTP is in place. The next step is to verify if the SMTP settings are correct.
Please ensure that the SMTP configuration in the WP Mail SMTP plugin matches the settings provided by your email service provider. Once you've confirmed the settings, go to Amelia > Settings > Notifications and set the email service to WP Mail.
After making these changes, try sending a test notification again to see if it's working.
Let me know if you need any further assistance, and I hope this resolves the issue!
