We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Blocking off Calendar

How can I effectively block off specific dates or time slots in the calendar to prevent additional bookings?

For example, if I have a 2-hour morning session 4 times a week with a capacity of 6 people, but one person wants to reserve it as a private session as a once off (and pays extra), how can I book them in while ensuring no one else can book that time slot? Additionally, if I have an event scheduled and need to reserve the time in the calendar to prevent other bookings, what’s the best way to handle this?

    Hello Nikita,

To block off specific dates or time slots for private sessions or events, here are some effective steps you can take in Amelia:

    1. Book a Private Appointment: For instances where a client wants to book an entire time slot as a private session, you can create an appointment manually in Amelia and set the capacity to one person. This will prevent additional bookings during that time. Set the status as "Approved" to ensure the time slot is fully reserved for them.

    2. Block Off Time in the Calendar: If you have other scheduled events or want to reserve time to prevent further bookings, use the "Special Days" feature in Amelia. This lets you override regular working hours or create custom working hours for specific dates, blocking those slots as needed.

    3. Calendar Syncing: Sync your Amelia calendar with an external calendar (like Google or Outlook) where you can add personal events or blocks. This will automatically reflect in Amelia’s booking system, preventing bookings during those times.

These methods allow you to manage the calendar effectively for both private bookings and other scheduled events, ensuring your availability reflects only open slots.

    Kind Regards,
