i want to sell multi-day events (from a half day to 4-days) to my customers. the customers should plan their own dates for the events by choosing multi-day events with the integrated calendar (multiple-day-choose is actually not possible with my setting).
if one customer has chosen a date, other customers should also be able to choose the same event at the same date as long as there is free capacity.
1.) is this possible with amelia? if yes, what can i do to get it to work?
3.) i am not able to create entries as admin in the amelia calendar without having a customer. actually i have no customers for most of the events at this moment. is it possible to create timeslots for events without having a customer? if yes, how?
I have now got a basic calendar running, which can also be used by the user to set appointments. My events are 1/2 to 4 days. Unfortunately, they are only shown with one day in the calendar. for a 4 day event, day 1 is occupied, days 2,3 and 4 are shown as free, which shouldn't be... how do I change that?
coming back to my question from the previous post: it should not be occupied as long as the capcity is not reached but the event should be shown as planned - is this possible?
Thanks for reaching out to us. First of all, it's important to note the differences between the services/appointments and events. Some users are referring to "events" even though are thinking about the "services". Services/appointments allow you to create particular services that would be visible for customers to select, based on the employee work hours configuration, while Events allow your customers to select already pre-defined "events" with date and time, where they can book their place for it.
Since you've mentioned "multi-day" events, this is only possible to configure with the Events feature, since the Service / Appointments doesn't allow you to do so. The maximum service duration is 24 hours, therefore you are only able to configure the timeslots within those 24 hours.
Speaking about the Events, all events are configured in advance, which means that the customer doesn't have the option to configure the time they want, but rather they need to choose the time.
