I have been using Amelia for many years now and am very happy :-)
I am now also using "Events" and I have a question/concern I organize two completely different events at irregular intervals. I can easily separate them with the "tags" for booking and thus work very easily with two landing pages.
[ameliaeventslistbooking tag="ISH"] But you should also receive completely different confirmation emails and reminder emails.
That is possible with "Custom Notifications"
Unfortunately, I can only find the option of sending the notifications for all events or I have to select individual ones manually. It doesn't work for all events because the emails should be tailored to one of the two events.
Now I always have to manually select the appropriate events (on a specific date), which is complicated and prone to errors.
It would be ideal for me if I could select here using the "tags" too. That way I wouldn't have to set up all the notifications separately for each new appointment. Any ideas or thoughts on this?
Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. When you create custom notification you need to manually choose for which events this notification will be sent
And you can set that only that notification is set for those events
But this can not be set via tag I'm afraid.

Hello Manfred, I had a similar demand in the past. Not anymore, but I found the workaround of relying more on the event description and other variables a straightforward approach. If possible in you case, you could come up with a more or less generic confirmation that works for all the different events and try put all the event specific details into the title, the meeting point description and the event description. The tag approach is really not an option if you have lots of events because you have to select them all manually. I did that for a while but it's really annoying.
Hi Gerhard, thank you for your tips. I use Amelia for webinar registrations and want to send a very appropriate mailing 1 hour later. I will continue to set it up manually for now.
