I’m using Amelia with WooCommerce, and all our event prices are displayed with VAT included. When a customer purchases an event, they see the correct price, but on the WooCommerce receipt, the VAT isn’t displayed properly. Currently, the receipt just shows "VAT = VAT" rather than breaking down the VAT amount.
For example:
Event price shown: €20
Receipt displays: Event = €20, VAT = VAT
Ideally, I’d like it to show the breakdown as:
Event price: €20
Receipt displays: Event = €16.60, VAT = €3.40
Could you please assist in setting this up correctly? Or could you please let me know if this issue originates from the Amelia settings or WooCommerce?
We are not quite sure what the issue is but as far as we understand there is an issue with VAT on WooCommerce side. So you need to reach out to their support team so that they can check this out.
Amelia itself doesn't handle the payments but we have integration with several payment systems such as: PayPal, Mollie, Stripe, WooCommerce, RazorPay and Square. So as soon as they click to book and they are transferred to WooCommerce from that point on WooCommerce takes over so this need to be checked on their end.
