We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello,

This plugin is potentially most intresting and efficient.

However, after two days of intensive testing I've come across serious problems when reaching out to SQL Server tables.

    1) Field names containing accented characters or other 128 bit characters are not accepted, for example "Extrudé".(item 3 on enclosed image).

    2) Table names with more than one word are not accepted, for example "PFA Extrudé". (Item 1 on enclosed image).

    3) Computed fields are not accepted. If I leave them out of the field selection it is OK, and they are still updated properly. I note however that I can replace them with a WpDataTables computed field. (Item 4 on enclosed image)

I can happily provide you with an access to my SQL Server test database for you to experiment. Just let me know if you intend to try and correct these problems.

    4) Another question I have is why I cannot use the SQLSRV driver instead of the ODBC driver. Is this SQLSRV driver intended only for MySql ?

    5) Last, when accessing an exisitng SQL Server database, it would be practical to see the tables and the views in alphabetical order.

My client is waiting to use your plugin, but cannot under the circumstances.
I also intend to upgrade to the Pro version as soon as these problems are cleared.

Thank you for a prompt comment and best regards.
