Is it possible to configure a "reply to" address when using SMTP for notifications? I use an SMTP service (Maileroo, but Amazon SES has same issue) that doesn't allow incoming mail.
I already have SMTP set up for transactional emails - so really I'd be happy to default to that. But that doesn't seem to be an option either. (Maybe if I select PHP mail it will use my default sending service, via Fluent SMTP plugin.)
Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunatelly, currently, there is no option to configure this since email notifications are only "1 way sync". That means that the notifications are only sent to the customers and employee but without the reply option.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Thank you for your reply, but I'm afraid I don't understand why this has anything to do with one-way sync.
Many websites use send-only SMTP services (e.g. Amazon SES). Specifying a different "reply to" address (which is a standard feature in forms plugins sending transactional emails) should be standard. Otherwise you have to default to messages in the subject or body, which many email recipients will overlook.
I've mentioned "one way sync" to point out that there is no option to configure "reply to". Currently, the notifications are only sent to customers and employees based on the appointment status, but they can't reply to them, unfortunately. You can add this as a feature request, of course.

I guess I'll have to add it as a feature request.
