I have recently changed my payment provider from Stripe top Square. And now when clients register for an event things work fine, BUT when their CC does not go through it will still register the client for the event. This creates and issue as when they try again it will register their name a second time. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks for reaching out to us. Would you mind providing an example? I'm not sure if I understand correctly, what are you exactly referring to when you say "CC"?
Example: A client registers for an event in Amelia pays through Square but for whatever reason the payment does not go through. Even though the payment is not processed the client still becomes registered for the event. So, now the event has a client that is registered but has not paid. Then the client comes back a day or so later then registers again and this time the payment goes through and now that client is registered twice for the event. Now I must go delete the first time they registered, and the automated emails send out cancellation notices that then triggers the next chain of events that creates unwanted workload.
I see that. And it created a booking inside Amelia for you. Without taking any payment. Now I must delete you as you are holding a seat for the event. This is what I am trying to solve.
Yes, apparently, that's an issue. I've received yesterday the notification that my appointment is canceled. Can I ask for the staging site along with the credentials? Dont want to interrupt the production site.

Hi Jeremy,
You can follow this link for instructions. You would need to create a staging site and then provide the login credentials.
