I am using Report Builder with a wpDataTable as its source. Both the Report and Table are on the same page. The Report data filtering is set to follow the table filtering.

The table filtering is set such that only one record can be displayed. For example, Hide table before filtering is checked, Hide all filters except the first one is checked, Disable search button until all filters selected is checked,  Enable cascade filtering is checked, and Cascade Filtering Logic From left to right is checked. The last table filter is the primary key of the SQL Table.

The report generation works fine only when the Generation Logic is set to Zip with multiple files for each row. If Single file is selected, the templated downloads with the variable names only. 

I do not mind using the Zip with multiple files for each row option because this option allows you to name the report. However, if a user does not filter the table before downloading the report (meaning no rows are showing on the page), the report downloads with all the records.

Any thoughts on how I can prevent all records from being downloaded if the table has not been filtered?

I got to work using a pre-filter.

So..., I think I am good.
