Im trying to set up new events, but after I click on new events, enter details and click 'save' it doesn't do anything, stays there and the event is not in the list. No error shown
Can you please check in WordPress users if you have several roles added to this user? For example admin and employee or employee and customer. etc. Or if this user has the same mail as other user for example admin/manager and employee or employee and customer. etc.
If this is the case then you should know you can not be Admin and manager to admin and employee, etc at the same time since this leads to conflict within the plugin. You need to have only one role per user only admin or only manager or only employee. Every role has different permission and if you combine them Amelia can not function properly.
You need to disconnect other roles from that user and that mail and to create a separate user with separate mail for each role and make sure to purge the cache afterward.
After that Amelia should work properly again. Please do that and let us know how it goes.
Thank you Marko. I removed user role and it now created the event.
But now it does not show up in the event widgets.
When I use shortcode it says 'Notice: Please create event first.' Is there anything that I'm missing here? Because in the events dashboard its visible.
Glad to hear that all is working now but the slow load can be caused by a lot of things - the number of appointments you have, the number of customers, the number of employees, etc.
As for the speed of Amelia itself, we cannot influence it because Amelia is not SaaS and the speed of your site and Amelia depends on the package you have with your hosting provider.
This is related to your package with your hosting provider because each page opens and loads for a very long time. Neither of these two issues is related to Amelia.
It could be caused by the amount of other data you have on the page.
Can you increase the php_memory_limit on your site?
If you're not sure how to do that, you can reach out to your hosting provider.
Please check out our demo sites (link) and see how the plugin should behave on a site with dedicated hosting and good server performance.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

It just took a while to be visible on the events list in the frontend.
Im really liking the product but having issues with speed.
The site loads, after a few seconds the widget loads. anything i can do for this?
