    Hello Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently using the Amelia Booking plugin, and I have noticed that the 1e_amelia_notifications_log table in my database has grown significantly, now containing over 20,000 entries and taking up approximately 625.52 MB of space.

As this is taking up a large amount of storage, I would like to inquire whether it is safe to delete old records from this table. Could you please confirm:

    1. Is the data in this table necessary for the functionality of the Amelia plugin?
    2. If I delete older records from the 1e_amelia_notifications_log table, will it affect the operation of the plugin or any essential notifications?
    3. Does the Amelia plugin have any built-in options for automatically managing or purging old notification logs to prevent this from becoming an issue in the future?

    Thank you

    Andzelika

    Hello Andzelika,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The 1e_amelia_notifications_log table is used to collect logs for notifications, enabling Amelia to check for any reminders or follow-ups that need to be sent out via cron jobs. It is safe for you to delete old logs from this table; however, we recommend that you do not delete any logs that are newer than one month ago to ensure that any recent notifications or reminders are retained.

Unfortunately, there is currently no built-in option within the Amelia plugin to automatically manage or purge old notification logs, so you will need to handle this manually.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to ask!

    Kind Regards,
