We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Is There A Way To Delete Tags
Closed

    Hello.

We purchased the Pro version and are in the process of setting up Events or several different classes. We are using Tags to add Events Lists to specific pages. Unfortunately, I created some tags with characters that Elementor does not allow in their shortcodes. Now, I need to delete the tags to keep my client from selecting the wrong one. Is there a way to delete the tags once they have been created?

    Thank you,

    Tim

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

As you may know, one way ( the user-friendly way) to delete Event Tags directly through Amelia,

can be to manually go into each Event and simply delete all the tags there.

But there can be a way through the WordPress database, if you know your way around Database Management Tools,  such as PHPMyAdmin.

    Here is an example, we just tried this and it worked in our Test Website;

but we still advise caution, just to be safe, it is best to make a site backup before doing this.

Here is how we did it - we got this Event Tag as "sports".

In the PHPMyAdmin, find this table named "wp_amelia_events_tags".

Please note, that the 'wp_'  table prefix is the default WP Prefix - on your site, it can be different.

Now, find any rows in this table and simply delete the Tags you don't need.

Then the deleted tag(s) won't appear anymore in your Events.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Kind Regards,
