Hello,
I would like some information on the service durations that can be set in Amelia. I plan to use Amelia pro for my future clients. In the meantime, I am testing the free version. There is something that bothers me is that the duration of a service is done in 30-minute slots. If a service must last 1 hour and 40 minutes, is it possible to do it?
Thank you for your feedback.
Best regards,
Jocelyn.
Hello Jocelyn,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The duration depends on the Default Time Slot step which is configured in General Settings of Amelia.
The duration you want to set needs to be dividable by that default time slot step, so if you want to create services that last 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 1.5 hours, you would need to set the default time slot step to 30 minutes (because all 3 durations are dividable by it).
If, however, you need to configure a service (or employee's work hours, or buffer times - anything that's related to duration) that lasts 40 minutes, you would need to lower the default time slot step to 10 minutes, and so on.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
