I’m experiencing an issue with the booking form where the E-mail field is not being treated as required, even though I’ve enabled email notifications and the email field is visible in the form.
Here’s a summary of the problem:
Customers can book an appointment without providing an email address, even though email notifications are active.
I would like the E-mail and Phone Number fields to be mandatory, so that customers must enter this information before they can complete a booking.
I’ve already tried creating custom fields for these inputs, but it resulted in duplicate fields appearing in the form.
I have also checked the Roles and Notification settings, but there doesn’t seem to be an option to enforce the email field as required.
Could you please help me ensure that the E-mail and Phone Number fields are treated as required fields in the booking form?
Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to your response.
Thank you for your previous response. Unfortunately, the solution you provided does not resolve the issue I’m facing. Despite having set both the email address and phone number fields as required, it is still possible to book appointments without entering either of these details. I have already checked that these fields are indeed marked as required in the settings, but this is evidently not functioning as expected. Could you please suggest an alternative solution?
Additionally, I have encountered another issue regarding services offered at multiple locations. In the booking form, users can select both the service and the location, but the location field is not mandatory. This allows users to book a service without choosing a location, which should not be possible. Can you assist in making the location selection a required field?
I have to agree with Dima , this is actually happening , despite the fields are set to mandatory , it does not requite on the booking these values , and hence they can do a booking without these details, they are not created as a customer on WP , and without email and phone number the customer is unreachable.
