My customer is complaining about the slow loading [ameliaeventslistbooking]. How can I speed the loading up? I use wp-rocket and there is varnish cache on the server. Can the [ameliaeventslistbooking] load only first page first and the rest of the pagination event pages load later? I mean there are 3 pages of events showing in [ameliaeventslistbooking], https://mcmwebsites.d.pr/i/k1pcBJ.
The slow loading times could be due to several factors, such as the number of appointments, customers, employees, and more.
Regarding Amelia’s speed, we don’t have control over that because Amelia isn’t a SaaS product. The performance of both Amelia and your website depends largely on the hosting package you have. If each page is taking a long time to open and load, this is likely related to your hosting setup rather than the plugin itself.
It could also be influenced by the amount of other data on your site. Are you using dedicated hosting or shared hosting? Additionally, can you increase your site's php_memory_limit?
If you’re unsure how to adjust these settings, I’d recommend contacting your hosting provider for assistance.
My hosting is pretty good! On other websites I don't have a problem with speeds. It is not the page speed but the loading of Amelia events list that is slow. I see that admin-ajax.php is loaded two times by Amelia, see the image.
This is taking more than 7 seconds to load. There must be a way to fastening this? Why is it loading two times? I will send the images of the details of both admin-ajax.php calls.
I would think this could be more efficient, wouldn't you agree?
I do agree that 7 seconds is a lot of time, but, unfortunately, Amelia is not SaaS and the loading speed depends on the server's performance and hosting package. There are few things that you can do, such as increasing the timeout limit as well. Also, try enabling the "Load Entities on page load" slider in Amelia Settings/Activation. That should avoid AJAX calls for fetching entities (services, employees, locations, packages, tags) and should increase the performance.
Can your developers create a load more button? So first load a small amount of events and not all of them at once. I would think I am not the only one delaing with this.
Yes, we've had some complaints about the loading speed, but, except for the options I've mentioned previously, there are no other things that we can do. I guess you can change the number of events shown on the front end (this can be found in General settings) and then the option to change pages would appear.

I can't lower the amount of events.
