I am the website development manager and i am managing the website kahusurfschool.com , we use the amelia plugin to book surfing lessons, my client has lost the backend access to the website , thus we are in process of creating a new website for the same , is there any way in which we can migrate the existing plugin to the new domain , so that it is a seamless transition , kindly help us out?
also don't have the purchase code thus was unable to raise ticket for amelia, chatbot was unavailable and there is no support email address.
Thanks for reaching out to us. If you remember the email that is used for Wordpress login, you can request a password reset. It will be sent to the email used for the WP user. You just need to go here -
My client has lost access to the wp-admin he doesn't have login details, the previous developer who made the website initially didnt share it with him and he is non responsive at the moment , if i share the URL with you can you tell me the email linked with the amelia plugin on the existing website?
Unfortunatelly no, we would need either an email or purchase code. We are not able to see the users/emails except if we log in. The migration option is only possible if you have access to the database. There is an option to export the tables, but without access to the database, you wont be able to do so.
Is there a dashboard for amelia plugin that one can login separately from wp-admin, he is currently receiving the bookings from his existing website, he has a google calendar linked with the amelia plugin in the existing website, and he has access to that email ID , is there a way he can login to amelia?
So only way forward is to buy the new domain , build the new website and then buy the amelia plugin for the new website and integrate it with the new website.
my client wants to link the same google calendar that is linked to his existing website on which he is receiving booking to the new website as well , does amelia provide the option to synchronize the bookings as we will be getting separate bookings from 2 websites , we have access to the gmail id linked with that calendar and we will have access to the new website wp-admin panel?
is that enough to setup the synchronization so that bookings do not clash and there is a smooth transition from older website to newer one.
You can also request a refund for the license, but we would need either a purchase code or an email that is used for purchase. You would need to create a new domain and install Amelia on that domain, then you can connect the same Google Calendar with the employee from that domain.
In case we are not able to find the purchase code or get access to the older website admin panel , can we connect the same old google calendar that is connected to existing website to the newer website and synchronize the booking.
my client is okay with buying the plugin again , as long as the bookings from both existing and older website are not clashing, he has access to that gmail id.

Hello Maverick,
Unfortunatelly, only through WordPress site. SInce Amelia is a plugin for WordPress, there is no specific, separate log in .

Hi Maverick,
Yes, that's possible. You can have multiple employees connected to the same Google Calendar ( even if they are not from the same domain)
