Hi, can I book a service, without choosing an employee? I want to collect bookings, in general and later appoint the employee,
or the customer can for example choose, a general employee, for example the brandname, ( they dont know the employees) and don't see the other, then later i can apoint the employee of my choice
I hope you are doing well. Service and employee need to be created together since the timeslots offered are based on the employee work hours. You can disable the employee selection field, while the service selection is mandatory, but Amelia will select an employee in the backend (assign an appointment to employee).
Hi Stefan, thanks for the. quick reply, appreciated I understand that it need to be booked together,
but i like to present to the customer 1 employee, so they dont have to choose, and i can appoint before the lesson the correct one, would that be possible,
Well, you can assign all services to one employee, but this will create confusion since if there is already one timeslot booked for this particular employee, the other customers wont be able to book the same timeslot. You can assign and move the appointment to other employees manually, from the backend, but Amelia is already doing this automatically.
You can hide the employee selection field in Customization settings. You need to select Step by Step v2, then Service Selection and then under Options, you will find the selection field.
Hi Stephan, I still struggle with this issue, please help, urgent I have a few rental services, for example rental 1 day, rental 2 days etc, and storage 1 day, 2 day, 3 days etc, I am forced to connect to an employee, and also sepearte email
In this case i need to make now for each service option a separate employee, with separate email, together this will be over a few 100 , so far from ideal, Any suggestions?
Unfortunately, a service cannot be created without at least one assigned employee. If you need different working hours for each service, you would need to configure a separate employee for each one.
Also, just to note, there is no option to set a service for multiple days. The maximum service duration is currently 24 hours, meaning customers can only book within that time frame
