Hi, I'm having difficulties finding a way to allow the employees of my website to delete bookings made to their services because they don't have an admin profile.
This difficulty is significant because the only way I found to allow them to delete appointments is by making their WordPress accounts admins, which is troublesome. After all, it makes it possible to change everything on the website. Am I missing some functionality that allows my employees with a non-admin account to manage their appointments fully?
Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. Only admins can delete thisng from Amelia but employees must not be admin at the same time this will create conflict of roles in Amelia.
They can have 2 separate logins with 2 separate mails so completely 2 separate account. If you set this as one account you will create conflict of roles.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
I see. It's unfortunate not having this functionality because when you have a website with booking services for multiple employees, it could be troublesome to manage the situations when the employee must delete some of these appointments. This is left to the admin to manage, which has to deal with all these situations, decreasing the feeling of "automatization" that the booking service intends.
I hope you have this in sight for future actualization. Maybe a toggle option to allow/or not the employees to be able to delete appointments made to their services.
I am hoping to see this in the future. Thanks for your time.
