My client is happy with the new function of waiting list! I am testing it now for them. I am not getting the payment step. When I place the attendee to Approved. But then there is a notification telling them that they are approved and they can attend. Where is the payment step in this? Did I miss something.
This is basically the same as "on-site" payment. When you manually add an attendee from the backend, Amelia automatically stores them as "approved". Therefore, it would be the "on site" payment method. Of course, this is visible in the Finance section and you can manage the payment there.
Also, there is an option to add the payment link in the notification template, so that when customers are informed via the notifications, they would see a link.
A lot of questions have been answered so I didn't need your exellent support :-) for a while. But now there is a new feature...
Is it possible to send a waiting list notification when some is coming from a waiting list? Otherwise the notification with payment will go to all paid events too. We have to have another path for this.
Sure, this has been moved to a separate section. In Settings, Appointments and Events Settings there is an option to enable the Waiting List and you will see the Notification option
There is a separate notification template for the Waiting list which you can edit
Thanks, I saw that. But this is when they get on the list. I would like to have one that is send when they coming from the list. This notification would tell them you are now approved but you still have to pay (payment link).
Or maybe my customer has to send a payment link first so they have paid and than set them on approved?
While you can send a notification with the payment link, you would need to do all of this manually. When they book a place, you would still need to change the status to "approved" manually. They can pay via the payment link, but you would only see the payment status and then change the appointment status to approved. This is yet to be improved, but for now, the status wont be changed based on the payment status.

I hope you can clarify this for me.

Hi Marco,
I hope you are doing well, long time no see :)

We will investigate this further. We know this is a starting point with the waiting list. I will suggest some features for this. Have a nice weekend!
Marco
No problem, Marco.
Have a nice weekend, as well, and as always looking forward to hearing from you regarding other questions or issues.
