How can I set booking time duration to 15 minutes and another to 45 minutes?
Hello Michael,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The duration depends on the Default Time Slot step which is configured in General Settings of Amelia.
The duration you want to set needs to be dividable by that default time slot step, so if you want to create services that last 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 1.5 hours, you would need to set the default time slot step to 30 minutes (because all 3 durations are dividable by it).
If, however, you need to configure a service (or employee's work hours, or buffer times - anything that's related to duration) that lasts 40 minutes, you would need to lower the default time slot step to 10 minutes, and so on.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

We offer different beauty services. Different services have different time durations. Some services we offer take 15 minutes, some take 30 minutes, some 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.
Is it possible to have booking time slot options show hours available based on the service selected???
For example, say someone wants to schedule and appointment for "Hair Cut & Syling" which is a 1 hour service. When they choose that option, Amelia time slot options will then show only 1 hour time slots like 10 - 11am, 11am - 12pm, 12pm - 1pm, etc?
OR
If they select "Massage" which is a 30 minute service, the time slot options would then show only 30 minute time slots...for example 10:00 - 10:30am 10:30 - 11:00am, etc.
If this is not possible, please explain how should setup the booking time slots in a way that will make logical sense.
Thanks
Hello Michael,
Thank you for the update on this.
Yes, that is possible, for this purpose, you need to enable the "Use service duration for booking a time slot" option on the Amelia/Settings/General page.
Please let me know if that works for you.
Kind Regards,
