We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Why would a service whose general setting set as default APPROVED set the appointment to PENDING status. I am trying to understand what logic is in place to have an appointment go to pending when default is approved. All appointments for service we want booked should be approved. We do not want pending for these services. Could you please explain or point me to an explanation as to what dictates the different status's being applied.
Further info:
the service is set Minimum Capacity - 1 Maximum Capacity - 2
the service Default Appointment Status is set to Approved
the overall settings for appointments is:
Allow booking above maximum capacity - OFF
Allow booking below minimum capacity - ON
We generally have 2 slots available for an service that can be booked on any of the available timeslots
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
There can be 2 reasons for this
Hope this helps.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,

Hi yes the status set is Approved yet it goes pending. On the employee the spots is 2 and 2 as that employee can handle 2 people booking that event.
The services has a minimum of 1 and maximum of 2
Hello again,
Can you please elaborate more on this section
"On the employee the spots is 2 and 2" If in emplyoee modal is set to minimum 2 and maximum 2 then this is causing issues. You need to set minimum to 1 because when you set it to 2 then the first booking is pending and then when there is a second booking in that that case minimum booking is achieved and both of them will get approved status.
Hope this explains it.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]

Thanks for your reply. I have attached the employee section i was mentioning.
We want to have a service available that allows 2x spots to be filled with an approved status for that employee.
All services we have operate this way. Multiple days of availability but only 2 spots available to book at each timeslot on each day. I have also attached the service which has minimum of 1 and max of 2 and status default set to approved.
I am just not understanding how the employee spots relates to the service capacity in relation to enabling a service timeslot to be able to be booked status approved with 1 or 2 customers.
thanks you for any help clarifying this for me

Hello again,
The issue is as we suspected and mentioned. In employee assigned services you have set that minimum is 2 and this overrides general settings
That is why first customer get pending status. You need to set minimum to 1 because when you set it to 2 then the first booking is pending and then when there is a second booking in that that case minimum booking is achieved and both of them will get approved status.
When you set this to 1 then first customer will get approved status also.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
