Can you please go through the steps in this video we made for using Stripe?

We explained what you can do in order to test if your Stripe functionality works as it should with Amelia with the Stripe Test Mode.

We also pointed out some troubleshooting,

for example, it can happen if you already switch Stripe in Amelia Payment settings to "Test Mode",

and if you leave it like that.

In Test Mode, you won't be able to perform transactions with real/live cards.

Or in other words, if Amelia is left in Test Mode, and you try a real card, you will get an error.

Another issue can also happen if you switch from Test to Live Mode,

but if you somehow did not input the correct Live Stripe Credentials in Amelia settings ( or left them blank at that moment).

If you already checked all of this, and still can't isolate the issue,

with your permission, we can try our own Stipe Test on your site,

and then we will revert everything as it was?

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. 

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties. 

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Hello Anne-sophie,

The problem is that the stripe customer was remembered for the this customer for test mode, but the customer ids are different when you switch to live mode. Update that customer in the amelia_users table by settings the stripeConnect column to NULL. We will fix this bug in a future update.
