When a new booking is created, and a customer selects extra options. The end time of the booking is wrong.
For instance: a booking is 2 hours. and starts at 14:30. But when the customer selects an exrta that takes 15 minutes. The total booking suddenly becomes 15 minutes.
As a result, the customer gets an email with the wrong end time, and also the booking gets wrongly inserted into Google calendar, only taking 15 minutes instead of the 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Therefore the employees get wrong information and remain bookable by amelia when they are in reality occupied by that meeting. In the worst case we get double bookings.
Thanks for reaching out to us. That's strange, indeed. May I ask for the WP admin credentials and some screenshots showcasing the issue so I can try to reproduce it?
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
Thanks for the access, but I couldn't find the email with the credentials. You can also send the credentials here, just make sure that the reply is set to private.
Make sure that the timezone is configured properly in Amelia. You need to make sure that the WordPress timezone is configured to the nearest city in your timezone, and also the employee needs to be assigned to the same timezone. Finally, the Google Calendar needs to be assigned to the same timezone.
Thanks for the feedback. No problem at all, I was talking from the previous experience of similar use cases. Of course, if the issue persists, let me know.
Just a note, tickets are automatically closed after a week, but you can just reply and they will automatically reopen.
We have checked all timezone settings and tested several times during this week.
The issue happens when a booking gets accepted. And also when there are no extra's added.
Once a booking has been made and is waiting for approval, everything is still fine, But when this booking gets accepted, The item in the Google Calendar is updatet, The end-time then gets overridden. I will paste a video in a private reply
Thanks again for the creds. Unfortunatelly, I couldn't replicate this issue. I've created a new employee and connected my Google Calendar. The employee has Amsterdam timezone and WP settings. My Google Calendar is on Belgrade timezone, but that's the same timezone as Amsterdam.
If an appointment (with extras) is booked for this employee, here is how the appointment is shown on the Google Calendar. As you can see, the appointment duration is 3hours (with extras)
The same appointment is showed like this on the Google Calendar
As you can see, the duration is shown correctly (3 hours).

hello stefan,
Have you tried to adjust the booking, e.g. change the status to waiting for approval to accepted?
We are almost sure the issue is caused by the update sent to google after accepting the booking.
Hi Edwin,
A similar issue has been already identified as a bug, but it has been fixed with the latest update Amelia 7.8.2.
Please, update to the latest version, test it again and let me know if it works.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
