We have the following problem when booking an event with Amelia “Event list booking form 2.0”.
When customers enter their e-mail address and click on book, they receive an e-mail from WordPress with a user name (their specified e-mail) at the same time as the confirmation e-mail in order to be able to set a password for our site. This gives them access to our backend.
Hello everyone,
We have the following problem when booking an event with Amelia “Event list booking form 2.0”.
When customers enter their e-mail address and click on book, they receive an e-mail from WordPress with a user name (their specified e-mail) at the same time as the confirmation e-mail in order to be able to set a password for our site. This gives them access to our backend.
Can anyone help us here?
Many thanks in advance!
Hello Sophia,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
This is sent from WordPress directly we have nothing to do with this.
That's WordPress' default email for every new user. I don't know if you can disable it through WordPress settings, but I do know that you can do it with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/manage-notification-emails/
Just disable the option “New user notification to the user” and you’ll be good.
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
