    Hello Amelia Team,

    I wanted to start by thanking you for the recent update that introduced the waiting list feature. It’s a feature we’ve been eagerly anticipating, and we’re glad to see it finally implemented. However, we were quite disappointed to find that this functionality is only available for events and not for appointments, which is where we truly need it.

    We’ve been using Amelia for nearly a year now, and while we appreciate the enhancements being made to the events functionality, it feels like the appointments side of the plugin is being overlooked.

    Moreover, the absence of an event packages feature is another major concern. This is currently the only reason we are still using appointments instead of events—appointments support packages, whereas events do not. It seems like a lot of the recent development focus has been on events, but without packages and other essential features, we’re left with a system that doesn’t fully meet our needs.

    Given these limitations, we are seriously considering whether Amelia remains the best fit for our business moving forward. Could you please provide any insight on whether a waiting list for appointments or the event packages feature is on the roadmap? Understanding your plans will help us decide whether to continue with Amelia or explore other options.

    We do like Amelia, but we need to ensure that the plugin evolves in ways that support our business effectively. I look forward to your response.

    In the meantime, we’re hopeful that the waiting list functionality can be extended to appointments as well. This would really help bridge the gap until the event packages feature becomes available.
