Is it possible to hide the employee selection field when a customer makes an appointment. I have one chair available to use but the available employee will change from time to time.
I don't want the customer to be able to select the employee name specifically, just the time slot, and whoever is available at that time will be the clinician they get.
And is there a way to select a service based on the location? The business offers a service which can be carried out at varying times in various locations by various clinicians.
At the moment we have the same service labelled with different locations which needs to be selected first, the client is then expected to select the matching location to filter the dates available.
eg currently we need to select, microsuction (london) OR microsuction (Kent) then select location ‘London’ or 'Kent'
What I would like to be able to do is select the location I want to visit, (eg ‘Kent”) which in turn pulls up the services available at that location ‘microsuction’ and then filters the times available based on the clinician that is there.
Is that possible, as I can’t see an obvious way to do that.
Is it also possible to set the phone code to default to UK (not US international code), under ‘Your information'
For that purpose, you can assign specific service and location to the work hour period on the Amelia/Employees/Work hours page.
For the purpose of changing default phone code on the booking form, you will need to change the "Default phone country code" option on the Amelia/Settings/General page.
so if I want to offer the same service in 2 different locations with different availability, do i have to create different products so that they are identifiable at 2 different locations or can I create one product with a generic name and then make it available for each location according to the opening times?
And to check if I make amendments to this process etc how does it affect appointments going forward which are already booked?
I assume historic appointments are all unaffected?
If the location work hours do not overlap, you can configure it with the same employee, but if the work hours for both locations overlap, you would have to create a new employee for a second location.
When you change the availability for an employee, past appointments will not be affected.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
**UPDATE - I THINK HAVE SORTED THIS OUT NOW - thanks**
Is there a place in Amelia to assign a service to a location?
For some reason, I can't get all services to show for all locations and I wonder if I have limited that somewhere?
I created a separately named service (but it's the same service) which doesn't show when I set the booking widget for all locations and employees and services to show.

You can hide the Employee field on the Amelia/Customize page.

I created a separately named service (but it's the same service) which doesn't show when I set the booking widget for all locations and employees and services to show.
Heres a test page
https://www.wellingearwaxclinic.co.uk/test-page-for-header
I expect everything in the Welling & Medway booking widgets to show in the 3rd widget 'Both Locations'
If you need access to help me, please let me know and I can provide that for you. thank
To add, one employee works at different times but in 2 different locations (no overlap) - does that work?
.
Hello Samantha,
My apologies for additional questions, if I understand properly, you resolved this issue, am I right with the assumption?
Looking forward to your reply.
