I have a client that is using the app for two very specific yet different reasons and I was hoping you could provide the best path.
The main task for the Amelia app is to allow teachers to book classes at a local "Safety Village". We have done this using events and everything is working correctly now.
The secondary task is that the Safety Village also host events for the general public. For example, people come for three different evenings before Halloween so kids can get candy. We currently have this set up as events as well.
The problem is we want very different email confirmations sent to each of the two groups — public and teachers.
I didn't see a way to do that so as a workaround I was looking at setting up the public events as "appointments" but I do not see a way to schedule specific dates and times for appointments.
We are not sure what you want to achieve exactly but you have 2 type of notifications
Employee
and
Customer
So if you create teachers as employees you can send them employee notifications
And customers will get customer notifications
But if both of them books on a front end then this is not possible they only get one and the same notification for same events and that is customer notification.
Hope this explains it.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
If these are 2 separate events then you can send 2 separate notifications for each event.
In notifications section you can click on create new notification and then you can set that only that notification is set only for that specific events like this
Hope this helps.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

I am not explaining this very well.
I have two groups — A and B — that will be attending events at our location.
These events for Group A and B are very different.
I do not know who these people are ahead of time.
I want the people in Group A to get a different email notification once they have booked than the people in Group B.
Is this possible through a clever workaround or trick? I understand the system may not do this currently.
Hello again,
If these are 2 separate events then you can send 2 separate notifications for each event.
In notifications section you can click on create new notification and then you can set that only that notification is set only for that specific events like this
