When I insert the Step-By-Step Booking 2.0 on my website, it allows customers to book services (in this case, gym classes) by accessing the classes, trainer, and calendar day they want to book. However, once the customer is identified, they are directly taken to the payment and booking page for that class or service. I have tried assigning a package of multiple classes to a customer, and when they enter the Step-By-Step Booking 2.0 screen, I see that at no point does it notify them that they have a purchased package and can use it to book these classes. Is there any way for the booking system to detect if the customer has a purchased package and notify them during the booking process that they can use it for the reservation? Thank you.
Thanks for reaching out to us. This is how it works by default. If you have a package (that contains the services offered on the booking form) the dialog showing the option to customers that the package is available will show up. If they choose a package instead, the window where they can book the appointment right on the booking form will appear and they can also choose to skip this step if they want to. They will be able to book the appointments later, through the customer panel. Once the booking is completed, the notification is sent to the customer and employee.
So, the package window looks like this
If they select a package, they can choose the appointments right away on the booking form
Please, let me know if this is what you are looking for or if you need assistance with anything else.
Hi Stefan, I don’t understand you. For example, I signed up as a customer for the class booking service at my gym with the email [email protected]. I’ve assigned myself an 18-class package, as you can see in the image.
But when I go to the website to make a booking step by step, it lets me choose the class, trainer, date, time, etc., but at no point, even though I am a customer using the email [email protected], does the system notify me that I have an 18-class package available that I can use. Moreover, in Amelia's step-by-step booking system, I don’t see any place where I can check my packages. This only appears in the Customer Panel. If I access the Customer Panel, I do have a section where I can see these packages and use them to make a booking. But going back to the beginning, in the step-by-step booking process, there’s no option to access the purchased packages. Could you help me? Thanks.
Apologies for the confusion, i haven't understood your question at first. Unfortunatelly, there is no option to preview the number of appointments or booked packages before booking. This information is only visible on the Customer Panel because Amelia doesn't have the option to recognize the email before booking and recognize the appointments that have been already booked. Only after booking, once you log in to the Customer Panel, this information is visible.
