I had a question regarding the Amelia plugin, I wanted to add a custom “Amelia Employee” WP role, however I noticed that an employee in Amelia can't be linked with this new role (see attached picture).
Modifying the default “Amelia Employee” does work, however I'm afraid the changes will be removed on an Amelia update ?
Do you have any recommendation to modify the permission of a user with the “Amelia Employee” role ?
So, basically, my client wants to limit what their employees see on the WordPress dashboard. For this, I have the idea to modify the permissions granted to the role “Amelia Employee” that comes with the Amelia plugin. However, I was wondering if there was another way to do this, as I figured these permission changes would be reset on an Amelia update, right ?
Here's an example of what I mean :
I hope I made more sense this time, let me know if it's not the case.
Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. You can suggest that feature on the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/
We carefully follow suggestions from our customers and the more votes the feature gets, the more priority we put on implementing that feature in one of the future updates.
