I am using WPDataTables in Divi to run a small marketplace. If you go to my site on the listed URL, you will see a table on the front page. When subscribers log in, the "NUMMER"-colum is clickable - see attachment 1. When they click this number, they get a pop up with more information .
WPDataTables fetches its data from SQL where every customer has their own table and can edit the information. This all works great until they sort the tables or edit it. After this, the pop ups are now longer clickable.
I do not know if this is a WPDataTables issue, a Divi issue, A WordPress issue or something else. What I do know is that it makes my service worse since the clients have to reload after sorting or editing. If there is a solution to this and you can helt me find it, it would be greatly appreciated.
We don't work on weekends so it adds two days to the waiting time.
we appreciate your patience.
- I am glad to see you resolved it by disabling the server-side option, but I am still curious as to why it would not work with the server-side option.
- Can you tell me more about how you created that Popup, is it a custom PopUp perhaps which you constructed in a String cell?
- If this table needs to be edited, then disabling server-side will also disable editing.
So we will be on stand-by, if you notice any further issues, let us know.
It is just on the front page that the tables is fetched from Google Sheets. When you log in, you get access to your own SQL-Table.
Turning off Server-side processing help with the sorting and filtering issues, but now it is impossible to edit the tables.
The pop up is created in Divi and are stored in the DIvi library. I use names like #091 for the library elements and the same for the popup-URL. As I said in the original post, this setup works well when the page is loaded, but not when the table is sorted, filtered or edited.

Hi Raymond,
My apologies, I just checked on the page HTML and realised this is a table linked from a Google Spreadsheet.
A table like that can not be edited via our Plugin's side and it can not have server-side processing.
If I am looking at the right table, it is Table ID 7, right?
If so, I am a bit confused, but if you resolved the issue, that's what's most important.
- Our Support will certainly be here if you have any further questions on this issue or if you find any further issues for the use-case.
Thank you.
