I am using Amelia on my website https://www.truffelceremonie.com, and I have an issue with one of my services called "Truffle ceremony (individual or private group ceremony)" (https://www.truffelceremonie.com/tarieven-reserveren/). This service should be exclusive, meaning there can be a maximum of 4 appointments, and once a date is booked, it should become unavailable to others regardless of how many people are included in the booking.
Currently, the system allows other users to book the same date if fewer than 4 people are included in the initial booking. For example, if one user books the date for 2 people, another user can book the same date for the remaining 2 spots. However, I want the date to become unavailable to others as soon as one person books it, even if their booking is for less than 4 people.
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? I would like to disable availability for a specific date once it has been booked, regardless of the person count.
I understand that disabling the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option might resolve the issue for the "Truffle ceremony (individual or private group ceremony)" service. However, I have multiple services on my website, including a "Group ceremony" that is intended to accommodate bookings from multiple people on the same date.
If I disable that option, it will apply to all services, which would affect the "Group ceremony" by preventing multiple bookings. I need the "Group ceremony" to remain open for multiple clients on the same date, while the "Truffle ceremony (individual or private group ceremony)" should be exclusive to the first booking.
Is there a way to apply this exclusivity setting only to the "Truffle ceremony (individual or private group ceremony)" service without impacting the other services on my website? I want the date to become unavailable to others once it's booked for this specific service, regardless of the number of people included in the booking.
I appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.
Thank you for reaching out and for your detailed explanation of the situation. We completely understand the unique requirements you have for the "Truffle ceremony" and "Group ceremony" services and appreciate your thoughtful consideration of how the booking settings impact each service.
At the moment, the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" setting is indeed a global option in Amelia, meaning that it applies across all services on the platform. Unfortunately, this means that it cannot be customized for specific services, such as making the "Truffle ceremony" exclusive to the first booking while still allowing the "Group ceremony" to accept multiple bookings on the same date.
We recognize how valuable this feature would be for businesses like yours that offer both private and group services, and we understand the impact this limitation might have on your setup. Although we do not have this capability at present, we will definitely pass this feedback along to our management team. Your input is incredibly important to us, and we are always looking for ways to improve the functionality and flexibility of our system based on our customers' needs.
If there are any future developments or updates that address this specific requirement, we will be sure to notify you right away. In the meantime, if there’s anything else we can assist you with, or if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help you get the most out of Amelia.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hello Truffel,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For that purpose, you can disable the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option on the Amelia/Settings/Appointments page.
Please let me know if that works for you.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
