The drop down option in the custom fields seems to pick only the first option as default when it is sending notification emails to customers. But in the backend, it shows the right option. Can you please help fix this?
I'm afraid we don't understand what exactly you want to achieve and what exactly is the issue? Can you explain in a little more detail and send us some screenshots or a short one-minute video?
1. Image "Capture" - There are 3 options in the drop down field in the booking dashboard. So in one of the cases, a customer chose the 3rd option "Marine Drive".
2. Image "Capture 2" - When customer received the confirmation email, the option mentioned is the first one at "Lougheed".
So, this issue has been happening to all the bookings where the first is being mentioned in all confirmation emails regardless. Please let me know if you caught my concern. We need to fix the problem where the chose option reflects in the confirmation emails.
The issue is probably simple most likely you are using locations placeholder in notifications but this is not a location this is a custom field so you need to add correct custom field placeholder instead location placeholder in notifications
Then they can see the data that they have chosen.
