The search function on ticksy doesn't work. I usually check for answers there first, but I can't search anymore...

    Now my real support question:

Hi, I can't set up custom pricing on an event:

    https://prnt.sc/-cRFaaEkjdXA

notification = Custom/regular pricing adjustments are not permitted for events with confirmed attendees.  But there are no attendees for this event yet!

How do I get around this restriction?

    thanks.

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. You can not go around this. The price can not be changed if you have attendees already as it is shown. When you see any notice in Amelia it shows for a reason and you can not go around it. The only thing that perhpas you can do is to remove attendees that booked already then you should be able to adjust the price and then add those attendees back to that events. This is possible workaround and we do not see any other way to achieve this.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Elisabet

I have worked out a workaround in order to bring the Ticksy search function up, as search does not currently work on the 'homepage' of where all public tickets are.

Click into any public ticket, and then hit the magnifying glass to bring up the search box...it should work then

    Cheers

Marko, thanks for your reply. Removing attendees does work. The strange thing is, when I tried to enter custom pricing yesterday and was confronted with the restriction warning, there were NO attendees for this event. That's why I reached out to Amelia support. When I checked again this morning, I noticed that the admin that had added the event, had also registered as an attendee which is the reason why the restriction warning appeared apparently.

So my problem has been solved now, but it does seem like a buggish situation where Amelia shows the restriction to me, but did NOT show any attendee for this event at the time. Maybe a sychronization thing?

    Hello again,

Glad to hear that all is fine now. We can not know what has caused this but at some point you have created conflict of roles and it is a matter of time when Amelia will develop other issues. You cannot be customer and admin or admin and emplyoee at the same time.

Can you please check in WordPress users if you have several roles added to this user? For example admin and employee or employee and customer. etc. Or if this user has the same mail as other user for example admin/manager and employee or employee and customer. etc. Check in customer section if you have users with same mail and admin and employee.

If this is the case then you should know you can not be Admin and manager to admin and employee, etc at the same time since this leads to conflict within the plugin. You need to have only one role per user only admin or only manager or only employee. Every role has different permission and if you combine them Amelia can not function properly.

You need to disconnect other roles from that user and that mail and to create a separate user with separate mail for each role and make sure to purge the cache afterward.

After that Amelia should work properly again.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
