I believe I have set the SMTP correctly up (I use Brevo SMTP). Assuming I have, I started customizing (and translating) the notification emails. But upon testing one, I got a vague Error message from Amelia.
The console says:
"amelia-booking-notif…ec4b92fb6c8b94.js:1 [ Deprecation] Listener added for a 'DOMNodeInserted' mutation event. Support for this event type has been removed, and this event will no longer be fired. See https://chromestatus.com/feature/5083947249172480 for more information. t @ amelia-booking-notif…ec4b92fb6c8b94.js:1"
Can you help me figure out where I failed in setting this up?
An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website and see what's going on.
I followed this up with Brevo Support, who made me aware that I had used the wrong port when setting Amelia up (should have used port 465, instead of 587). Changing that solved the issue.
