I've set up woocommerce payments and selected this option:
Redirect page: Amelia Add to calendar page
But when I purchase a session, it just redirects me to woocommerce's 'order received' page with a summary of the order. There doesn't seem to be a second way to select a day for that booking purchased for that session. Or at least I'm not being able to find it.
Do I need to create this page myself or does Amelia create it automatically. If the first, how do I assign it as the Amelia Add to Calendar page?
I just want to add that I was trying to create a Woocommerce product for the booking and thought the behaviour would be that after buying it, users would be redirected to the Add to calendar page.
I'm beginning to feel that that's not how it works. With the arrangement I've managed to create, the package has to be bought directly from within Amelia, then buyers are redirected to the Woocommerce cart page.
This process is ok, but I'd much rather have the first scenario in place. If there's a way to do that, it'd be great to know.
Thanks for reaching out to us. You can configure the "add to calendar" option, but since the WooCoomerce is enabled, it will forward to the WooCoomerce checkout/cart page, that's true. But, when the customer finishes the WooCoomerce cart process, the confirmation window will be shown with the congratulations page. This is when customers can see the option to "Add to Calendar". So, when the WooCoomerce process is done, then Amelia will show the information that the booking is completed.
Thanks. I think the problem is that I complete misunderstood the 'add to calendar' function. I initially thought you could add the booking as a product and buy it like any other product. The only difference is that at the end, you get directed to the Amelia page to book the date. But I now realise that was a misunderstanding. I think I get it now.
