I want to enable my customers to register in my website, but not through the Amelia appointment booking flow.
Something like this:
1. User creates an account in a FormidableForms user registration form (e.g.: www.mysite.com/register)
2. When the WP user is created, an Amelia Customer is also created and connected to it
3. WP user is assigned Customer role, and also Amelia Customer role
I only found support tickets, videos and articles showing how it works when a WP user is logged in and books an appointment - then its data is prepopulated in Amelia booking and a new Amelia Customer is created in the flow. But nothing like a "stand alone" account creation as I'm trying to do.
Do yo uhave any ideas about how could I do it? (even if it means adding extra php code somwhere in the process)
Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. What you want is not currently possible to achieve and they must book on the booking form to get the Amelia customer role. We can not say or know if this can be achved with some custom coding and our developers can not help or accept personal customization projects. So at this time what you want to achieve is not possible Ima firad.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
I am looking to do the same thing. I upgraded to the elite to get the api code. Are you saying that even with the api and custom coding this can not be achieved?
If you have any question please open your own ticket since your question and our answer will get other users also. We do not want to disturb other users and we will gladly respond to any question that you may have. As for API we can not know what you can develop and create with it or not so we can not say if this is possible or not with that option. Gabriel does not have API feature.
