It seems we are unable to reproduce this, so it is isolated on your table/site.

Can you please record a Video to show us the steps, how does the cell look initially without the Transform Value ( it is empty if I understood) - and which value are you setting exactly when you try to save the Transform Value and that loading happens?

You can upload the Video anywhere like weTransfer and send a download link.

And if you can please copy and paste the full value you tried for Transform Value here, you can wrap it inside a code format.

That is very strange, we have not seen something like that yet.

10 minutes is an extremely long time, so I can completely understand what you mean.

- What is the table type, and how many rows does it have, I am curious ( if you're still able to reproduce the issue)?

- In regards to the content of the 'transform value', are you just using the placeholder of the same column value inside its 'own column', so to speak?

- For example, I tried two of my test tables with the latest wpDataTables version 6.6.1 and I am unable to see any issue.  I also tried Dark Mojito skin - and there are no issues.

First, I make a Manual table with 100 rows, and add a completely empty column to use with Transform Value. Then i just use that own column placeholder, and it worked.

- Then, I tried the same with an SQL Table for a 'first name' Field - I use the same field's value placeholder, there is no freeze or anything like that.

So we can't reproduce this issue, seems it is something isolated on your specific Table/ site.

Would it be possible if you can record a Video of the screen, so we can see what is the table type - and which steps you do exactly to reproduce the issue on your table?

Then if you can send me back-end access so we can make a duplicate/copy of your table and investigate it/ to make sure we don't have a bug :

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. 

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
