Hey there, Awesome Customers!
Just a heads up: Our team will be out of the office on the 12th and 13th of September, but don’t worry—we'll be back in full swing on the 16th of September (since we don't operate on weekends anyway).
During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we get back.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards,
TMS
Hi,
I’m using Amelia to manage my clients’ appointments and payments via WooCommerce. I’ve noticed that clients are not receiving the notifications from Amelia, even though they are configured correctly. I’ve attached my email logs and notification settings.
Thanks for your help.

Hi isaac,
Thanks for reaching out to us. You should be using SMTP protocol instead of WP Mail. Emails sent with WP mail are usually flagged as spam and therefore not always sent. Instead, we recommend using SMTP, you can more information on this link.

Hello,
Thanks for your help! I want to use my professional email ([email protected]). When I send a test email from the Amelia plugin, it works fine, but when a new order/appointment is made, the client doesn’t receive the notification from Amelia. They only get the notification from WooCommerce, so the email seems to be working correctly from WordPress.
Any help would be appreciated!
Hi isaac,
It's not about the email, it's about the email parameters. You should have a proper username and password, as well as the host configured. The reason why you see an email sent from WordPress is that the WP mail might work, but the other emails are usually flagged as spam and therefore they end up in a spam folder or they are not sent, at all. For that reason, we recommend the SMTP protocol so try configuring it for SMTP and let us know if it works.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
