Hi we are trying to set up Amelia so customers can cancel or reschedule their appointments themselves. We have enabled the customer panel and set it to not require a login as we don't want to force people to create logins etc for our site. When we try to access the customer panel page it says it will send a one time access link but it does not send anything when we enter our email address?
Thanks for reaching out to us. Please double check the email configuration. It could be that the emails are not sent because of the wrong configuration. It should be configured to SMTP protocol since sending emails with Mailgun or WP mail usually results in spam. In case you haven't configured it already, please refer to this link for more information regarding SMTP.
We use SENDGRID for our SMTP and tried to get this set up but there is no way to test the connection. We enter username and password but nothing seemed to be sent out. under WPmail then notifications are sent. I watched the link and it describes using google for smtp but only if 2 step verification is turned on. How do you set it up if this is not allowed by your admin?
Stefan went on vacation in the meantime I will step in for him.
We can not help with third party setup so if there are any issues with notifications with specific settings you need to reach out to their support team for any advice.
We can not know what the issue with some other setup. The only thing that we can do is to connect on your site with our credentials to confirm that there are no issues with Amelia but this is not necessary since you have confirmed that all is working with WP mail for any additional setups you will need to check with them we can not know specific settings for each provider.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
But you show the google smtp setup but with two factor on is that the only way to set up amelia with google smtp?Sendgrid I was asking if there was a test?
I'm afraid we don't understand what exactly you want to achieve and what exactly is the issue? We can test notifications on your site with our credentials to confirm that everything is working and that Amelia does not have any issues. But if your setup is not working we can not help with that much you need to see this with your mail provider so that they can help you with that. That is not related to Amelia.
So if you want us to to check and confirm that there are no issues with Amelia and our credentials we would need temporary admin credentials.
