Queremos establecer dos métodos de pago: Stripe y Pago en el sitio.
Vemos que, por defecto, solo se puede establecer un estado para la reserva, ya sea Pendiente o Aprobada.
Nos gustaría saber si es posible establecer diferentes estados de la reserva según qué método de pago se elija. Es decir: queremos que cuando el cliente pague con Stripe, la reserva quede confirmada, pero que, cuando elija Pago en el sitio, la reserva se establezca como Pendiente.
Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. What you want to achieve is not possible Im afraid. So status can be set individually for each service in services edit service settings payments. but this cannot be set per payment method. You can create separate services that will indicate online payment and in person payment for example and separate them in that way. Or keep them al pending and approve bookings manually based on payment method.

And is it possible for us to automate the state change using web hooks or something similar? That is, when an appointment is marked as paid in Amelia, its status automatically becomes APPROVED, so I can set the PENDING status as the default status and automate the process by verifying the payment status later.

We just got the feedback from our colleagues and they have told us that different default statuses can be set by services so if there are services that only use stripe you can set their default status as approved. Also the payments already follow this logic. When an appointment is going to be paid on-site the payment on the Finance page remains "pending". If it is paid right away the payment has the status "paid".
