We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Highcharts - Donut Chart Not working
Closed

    Hi there,

I am a software developer and found a bug/problem in the premium wpDatatables (and the charts) that I am using in one website and I noticed that the Highcharts - Donut Chart is not working properly.

As you know (and from the highcharts official docs) the Donut Chart should support more than 2 columns. Even according to the Donut Chart thumbnail in the Wizard it shows as so.

Can you kindly fix this bug please?

    Hi Oliver,

This is how our HighCharts Donut Chart type is working by default in our Plugin.

If you check our Documentation Page about the HighCharts Donut Chart, our developers pointed out that in our Plugin's HighCharts Donut Chart, you can only choose exactly two columns as a strict requirement.

The first chosen column provides the labels for each 'slice' of the donut.

And the additional column must be numeric, it will provide the 'slices serie values'.

I tried to find the part of the HighCharts Documentation as you described, that it should support more than 2 columns, but I can't seem to find it.

I just found demos such as this one - where they wrote how it is very similar to how the pie chart works - and we know for the pie chart, that can also only take 2 columns as the strict requirement.

Could you please send us an URL or point us to the part where they pointed out that detail and I can pass it to our developers?

    2. That thumbnail preview in our Chart Wizard, to be honest I am not able to clearly see does it show multiple numeric series - or if it is just one numeric column being rendered as multiple slices in that donut, the image has very low resolution.

I will certainly ask our developers about that, too, just to be sure and going to confirm it.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,
