How can I manually apply an ad hoc discount to an existing (unpaid or partially paid) appointment? For example, I might want to knock $40 off the price, or provide a normally paid-for service for free.
You can not. Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. You can not knock of price on backend or for already existing appointments. Prices are already entered and appointments are booked. So what you want is not possible I'm afraid. You can only send coupons to your customer so that they can apply discount during the booking process. You can read more about it on this link https://wpamelia.com/admin-finances/#finance-coupons.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
OK, put it in as a feature request. Since you can edit payment info for an appointment under the payments tab, it would make sense to also allow a manual discount to be applied there.
