I use my website primarily for booking events. How can I set up a notification or a link with an invitation, or even add a button to my website, so that members can log in or create an account? This would allow them to manage their classes directly through the portal instead of having to go through their emails.
You need to add a customer panel placeholder to your event notifications like this for example
And when they book for the first time and when they click on the link they will be redirected automatically to set the password and the user name will always be the mail that they used during the purchase.
You need to do this also for customer panel access as well copy and add this %customer_panel_url% there and when they forgot password they will be able to reset it.
So either via link in placeholder or once they book they need to go to panel and click on forgot password end then to click on link to be transferred to panel. So in any case this must be done via link in notifications.
This should help.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
When I add the placeholder that you mention the clients are redirected to a Wordpress login but not to a page where they can create a username and password. I tried from 2 different accounts with the same results. How can I do it so that when they click on the link they get redirected to create a username and password?
You did not set the correct URL then in role settings section. We have notting to do with WP login so you must have placed wrong URL. Please check and set correct URL of Amelia customer panel and all should be fine.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
