4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
This is an example of the French language, but you will choose yours.
Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I am using Loco Translate and when I look at the files, the text should already be translated. At least the translation is already in the file. I am using German (Sie). But apparently the plugin does not load the correct translation file.
I have solved the problem, maybe you can take this into account in the next update.
In German, there is you and a formal you (in german "Sie"). The folder de_DE_formal was missing. I created the folder and moved the German language files into the folder and renamed it to DE_de_formal.
We are glad to hear that all is fine now and Im afraid that we are not sure what needs to be done exactly. If you can kindly send us a couple of screenshots what need to be done and what was missing and I will forward it to the appropriate sector to be reviewed.
In German, you can choose between German and German “Sie” at Wordpress. For German, the translations are taken from /wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/de_DE. For German “Sie”, the translations from /wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/de_DE_formal are used. This folder was missing. I created the folder de_DE_formal in the folder /wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/ and copied the translation files from de_DE into it. I renamed these files to wpamelia-de_DE_formal.
I have attached screenshots of it. If there is anything else I can do, please let me know.
Thank you for elaborating on this. Since there is a great of combinations to be honest we do think that this will be implemented since we only have one version of each language. We have Spanish only for example but there is a great deal of Spanish-speaking countries and this would be to many variations. Also we do not have translators in our company, so all translated languages Amelia has have been translated by our customers. If you find any inconsistencies with the translation, please feel free to correct them using POEdit, or Loco Translate, open a ticket and send us the corrected translation, so we can add it to the plugin.
Hello,
I am looking for the possibility to translate the following text “This field is required”, in the custom fields.
Thank you very much
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Words can be changed using POEDIT for example very easily.
If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:

3. You need to download and install POEDIT.
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.

Hello again,
Some strings cannot be translated with Loco so for that reason we suggest that you try poedit plugin.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

Hi,
the text line is already translated in POEDIT as well, but is not displayed translated.
Kind regards
If I switch to German, it works. Only German (Sie) does not work.
