    Hi,

I've purchased this years ago and didn't use it on clients websites yet, since of all the GDPR compliance concerns.

Can you please clarify, how you process data?

Is your plugin GDPR compliant in Europe?

How to set it up GDPR compliant for Europe?

    Thank you!

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Yes, Amelia is GDPR compliant.

Here are some main points :

    - In Amelia Settings/Roles/Customer, you can enable the option for customers to delete their profile, in accordance with GDPR.

    - You can include a Checkbox custom field where you can add the link to your Terms & Conditions,

where you explain how the data is handled on your website.

If made mandatory, this field will prevent customers who don't check it from booking. This will be considered as a given consent for all users that book appointments through Amelia.

    - No data can be transferred to 3rd parties.

    - Google Fonts: Amelia loads the default fonts (listed below) from Google’s servers (Google Fonts).

Since this is in conflict with GDPR in some countries, you can use the Custom option in the Fonts section of Amelia/Customize and load the fonts locally.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Kind Regards,

    Marko Davidovic
