We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi there! Is there a way I can set the "standard time slots" different from frontend to backend? It would be great if in the backend I could set an appointment to 11:30 am for example but in the frontend people can only book to the full hour, so for example 11:00 am and 12:00 pm.
Hi Stefanie,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunatelly, something like is not possible to configure in Amelia, since the same timeslots are visible on both the backend and frontend. You, as an admin, can book at any timeslot if you have the option "Allow admin to book at any time" in User Role enabled, but the customers can only book on the available timeslot. That being said if the service duration is 1h, your customers will see the timeslots in 1 h duration. Just make sure that the option "use service duration" option is enabled in General settings.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Okay, thanks for letting me know. Even if it is not possible now, I think this option would be helpful to have in the future. I have the option "Allow admin to book at any time" enabled but still it shows me only times in 1h duration. Is that supposed to be different?
HI Stephanie,
Perhaps i haven't explained properly. The option "allow admin to book at any time" is only applied to the backend, meaning that only an admin can schedule an appointment at any time, no matter the employee work hours.
In General settings, the option "Use service duration for booking a time slot" is regarding the timeslots on the front end, meaning if the service duration is 1h, then the timeslot would appear like 09 - 10, 10 - 11 and etc.
The same goes for 2 hours and so on.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

No, I got that. But despite the option enabled "allow admin to book at any time" I only get options 7-8, 8-9, 9-10, 10-11 and so on since all my services last 1h. It allows me to book outside of employees work hours but I can't set an appointment at 10.30am for example - which is exactly what I need.
I forgot to mention, make sure that this option is disabled in User Role setttings
As you can see, if this is disabled, then the booking is determined on the Default Timeslot Step, so you want to change this to 30 minutes
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Thank you, this actually solves the problem now - but I needed to enable "Booking Time Slots will depend on service duration" so that customers can only book to the full hour.
Hi Stefanie,
There are different combinations, indeed, you can configure it according to your needs. Of course, in case you have any other questions or issues, feel free to reach out to us on a new ticket and we will kindly assist.
